The Paper Players Color Challenge #158 / Crazy for CAS #24 vakantie

Op dit moment speel ik het meest met Strawberry Slush, dus deze challenge moest ik meedoen. Dit was mooi te combineren met de Crazy for CAS challenge over vakantie. Tevens mijn favoriete stansen gebruikt. De Tag It set van Stampin' Up! is echt ge-wel-dig! En de stempelset die er bij hoort is ook een must have. Is het niet voor de stempels, dan wel voor het goede doel wat er aan vast hangt.

Als eerste het sentiment op het cardstock gestempeld. De tag uit gestanst en daar de motor op gestempeld. De zeshoeken gestempeld en uit geponst. Deze eerst opgeplakt en daarna de tag met 3D foam.

At this moment is Strawberry Slush my most used ink, so I had to enter this challenge too. This was a nice challenge to combine with the Crazy for CAS challenge holiday. And I could use my favorite dies again. The Tag It die from Stampin' Up! is soooo good! And the matching stampset is also a must have. If it isn't the stamps, than the charity that it supports.

First I stamped the sentiment on the basecard. I used the die to punch out the tag and stamped the motor on it. The hexagones I stamped and punched. Those are the first I glued on the card. I glued the tag on it with 3D foam.

LiM challenge week 132: One layer Numbers

De challenge van deze week is werken met 1 laag en gebruik cijfers. Ik bedacht gelijk om een kaart te maken met het cijfer 18, maar dan zag hij zijn kaart al voor hij hem gaat krijgen. Dat was niet de bedoeling.

Als eerste heb ik de cijfers uit het maskertape gehaald met de stans en de CuttleBug (ja ik weet het, nog steeds geen BigShot!). Deze een voor een op de kaart gemaskerd en het cijfer overgetrokken. Het cijfer 4 met fel blauw gesponst en de lijn omgetrokken. Daarna de rest van de tekst er bij geschreven.

This weeks challenge is working with one layer and using numbers. I thought directly of the number 18, but than he would see his card before he gets it. That isn't what I want.

First I cut the numbers out of the maskingpaper with the CuttleBug (I know, I still don't have a BogShot!). I masked them of on the card one by one and traced them. The number 4 I sponged with bright blue end traced the line. After that I wrote the rest of the sentiment.

SU-per Challenge #13: kleur

Voor deze challenge moesten we 3 kleuren gebruiken waarvan er 2 erg favoriet zijn bij mij. Dus toch maar weer mee doen. Ik wilde eigenlijk de Less is More Challenge er ook bij doen, dat is niet gelukt. Hij is 2-layer geworden zonder getallen.

Uit een masker de drie vierkantjes geponst en de afbeeldingen gestempeld. De vierkantjes er weer in geplakt en de postzegelrand geponst en opnieuw het masker er op. Het randje gesponst. Masker er af en het sentiment gestempeld. Daarna het geheel op een gekleurde basiskaart geplakt.

For this challenge we had to use three colours with two of my favorites. So I had to participate. I actually wanted to enter the Less is More Challenge also, but no one-layer and no numbers. 

I punched three squares out of masking paperand stamped the images. Stuck the squares back in and punched the poststamp from the maskingpaper and sponged the edges. Masking paper of and stamping the sentiment. So I glued the whole on a coloured basecard.

18 jaar / Turning 18 Years old

Voor de verjaardag van deze persoon had ik gelijk een idee. De dag ervoor had ik net een leuk gesprek gehad met mijn teammaatje en dat leverde het volgende resultaat op.

Eerst de houtstempel gebruikt om een mooie achtergrond te krijgen. Het midden van de basiskaart opgezocht en daar een cirkel uit geponst. De achtergrond hier weer opgelegd en daar ook de cirkel uit gehaald. Het schijfje hout gestempeld en daar wat extra's aan laten zitten om deze met een brat te kunnen bevestigen aan de kaart. In de achtergrond en het schijfje hout het gaatje gemaakt voor de brat. Een builder brat gebruikt om dit aan elkaar te maken.

Aan de binnenkant van de basiskaart netjes achter de open cirkel het cijfer 18 met wit geheatembossed. Een label gemaakt en deze met lint om de achtergrond bevestigt. Aangezien ik nog een schijfje hout over had, heb ik deze met dimensionals op de achtergrond geplakt. De complete achtergrond op de basiskaart geplakt en klaar is het.

For this person's birthday I had an idea ready. The day before I had a nice chat with my teammate and this is it's result.

I first used the woodstamp to make the background. In the middle of my basecard I punched a circle. I put the background on it and punged the circle at the right place. I stamped the slice of wood and cut that out with some extra space to punch a hole for my bulder brat. Punched my holes for the brat and fastened it with the brat.

On the inside of my basecard I heat embossed with white the number 18. I made the label and with some ribbon tied it around the background. Because I was left with another slice of wood, I glued it with dimensionals on the background. The whole background I glued on the basecard and finished it is.

Nieuwe stempels / New stamps

Deze heb ik gemaakt van de proefjes die ik met mijn nieuwe spullen heb gemaakt. De stempels zijn weer geweldig!

De achtergrond gestempeld met de houtstempel. Daarna deze geembossed voor een leuk reliëf. Deze op de basiskaart geplakt. Het woord was een probeersel maar kwam er goed uit, nadat de voorgaande vier waren mislukt! De vlinder van de "Best of" serie gebruikt. Ik vond hem zo mooi, en met die sprietjes ideaal formaat.

I made this card with the tests from my new stuff. The stamps are awesome!

I stamped the background with the woodgrain. After this I embossed it for it's reliëf. I glued it on my basecard. The sentiment was a try-out but came of good after four sentiments doing wrong! The butterfly is from the "Best of" serie and I wanted to try it out. I loved it and with the feelers it's great!

Droevig nieuws / sad news

De poes van mijn vriendin was aangereden. Geen leuk nieuws. Dus ik maar weer een kaartje gemaakt. Die moest er gewoon even komen.

De nieuwe stempelsets gebruik en ook de nieuwe In Colours. Met behulp van de stamp-a-magic de zeshoeken gestempeld. Deze in twee verschillende kleuren en twee verschillende patronen gestempeld om het een beetje rustig te houden. Op een apart vel de vogels gestempeld, uitgesneden en de randjes langs de inktpad gehaald.  De tekst rechtstreeks op de kaart gestempeld en de vogels er onder met 3D foam.

My friends cat was killed by a car. No happy news, so time to make a card again. I had to make it.

I used my new stampset and also the new In Colours. With help from the Stamp-a-magic I stamped the hexagones. I used only two different colours and paterns to keep it more clear. On different cardstock I stamped the birds and cut them out. I gave the edges some colour by using my inkpads. I stmaped the sentiment on the card and glued the birds with some 3D foam on the card.

Crafts & Arts Fair Texel....

Ik heb echt even geen tijd gehad om wat te bloggen. Mijn gezondheid laat toch enigszins te wensen over en in het zieken huis valt er weinig te stempelen. Na een MRI scan is er nog geen duidelijkheid.

Verder gaat de organisatie wel door en heb ik eindelijk een voorlopige advertentie samengesteld. Er moet nog wat aan gesleuteld worden. Verder zijn we druk bezig met leuke dingen verzinnen voor in onze eigen stand en ook komen er twee wedstrijden waar je aan deel kan nemen. We gaan een hele muur vrij maken waar iedereen een boodschap op kan schrijven. Verder schrijven we ook een Stampin' Up wedstrijd uit, waar er zeker leuke dingen te winnen zijn.

I didn't have to for my blog because my health is not what it should be. In the hospital there is very little time and place to stamp and after a MRI scan, still no result.

The organisation for our Fair still rolls on. I made a first adverisement but it needs to be remodeled. And more, we are busy thinking of the right make-and-taes for our own stand and also twee contests for everyone to join. We will clear a part of a wall so everyone can write/draw something about the Fair. And a second contest will be our own Stampin' Up contest. There will be nice things you can win.
