CAS-ual Fridays CFC98: All that glitters

 

De uitdaging van deze week is om glitter te gebruiken. Dat was moeilijker dan gedacht. Uiteindelijk is het dit geworden. Eerst een Totaly Tess gestempeld en met behulp van de Stamp-a-magic deze mooi langs de kant en rechtop. Daarna nog een keer op off white papier. Uitgeknipt en ingekleurd met potlood. Vervolgens het schaartje en het schort op off white papier gestempeld. Het schaartje uitgeknipt en het schort samen met glitterpapier uit geknipt. Het schaartje aan de hand van Tess gedaan en Tess met schaar en al opgeplakt. Daarna het schort er bovenop. Mijn goede vriendin Arianne kwam met het leuke idee om van pearldrops een armbandje te maken. Dat werkte heel goed. Het sentiment er bij gestempeld, en klaar is de kaart. 

The challenge this week is use glitter. That was harder than I thought. Finaly I came up with this idea. I first stamped a Totaly Tess on the card with help from the Stamp-a-magic and than on off white paper. I cut the one on off white out and coloured it with pensils. Nextstep, stamping and cutting the scissor and apron. I cut tha apron together with some glitterpaper. Scissor in the hand of Tess and glueing it on the Tess stamped on the card. Apron glued on Tess. My dear friend Arianne came up with the very good idea to make a bracelet from liquid pearldrops. It worked out great. Stamping the sentiment with it an finished is my card.

Muse challenge #12

De challenge voor deze week was om je inspiratie van deze Muse kaart te halen. Ik heb er even over moeten denken en dit is het resultaat.

Als eerste een strook papier gesponst en gerild. De buitenkant ingeknipt om er puntjes te krijgen. Op een vel papier met twee kleuren geel gesponst voor het hart van de bloem en deze met de ponsen er uitgehaald. De scallop op de bovenkant en de cirkel op de onderkant. De groene kaart gemaskerd en met een donkere groen de binnenkant gesponst. De bovenste kaart de bladeren gestempeld en de punten van de blaadjes een deel los gesneden. Deze omgebogen en gekleurd.

Met behulp van de Stamp-a-magic de tekst gestempeld zodat de bloem er nog naast kan. De bovenste kaart op de ondergrond geplakt en de bloem daar weer bovenop. Klaar is je kaart!

This weeks challenge was to get your inspiration from the Muse card. I had to think it through and this is the result.


First a strip of paper sponged and rilled. I cut in order te get the outside pointed. On onother piece of paper sponged with two tones of yellow to make the center of the flower. With the scallop punche I punched the center out and with the circle the center for the underside of the flower. I masked the green card and sponged the middle with Evergreen Bough. In the topcard I stamped the leaves  and cut the points to fold them up and coloured them.

With a little help from my Stamp-a-magic I stamped the sentiment so that the flower still fits in.I glued the topcard on the green card an the flower on top of that. Finished!

CASology week 39: Travel

Ik had werkelijk geen idee wat ik voor deze challenge moest maken. De uitdaging voor deze week is reizen. Gelukkig heb ik dan een Marrigje! Door haar stempelsets heen gewandeld en zo op dit mooie idee gekomen. Ik had al verscheidene leuke kaartjes voorbij zien komen.

Eerst de achtergond met embossingfolder door de Cuttleug gehaald. De fiets in not quite navy gestempeld op blauw papier. Deze ingekleurd met andere tinten blauw. Met behulp van de Stamp-a-magic het koffertje in het fietsmandje gestempeld met soft suede. De fiets uitgeknipt en de ballonnen gestempeld met de markers. Daardoor de ballonnen meerdere kleuren gegeven. Touwtjes er aan bevestigd en met de brats in het midden van de wielen, bevestigd aan de fiets. De achtergrond op een witte basiskaart geplakt en daarop de fiets en ballonnen met 3D foam er op geplakt.

I had no idea what to make for this challenge. The theme this week was travel. Luckily I have Marrigje! I flipped through her stamps and came up with the following idea. I'd allready seen some nice cards on the challengeblog.

First I made the background with the embossing folder and Cuttlebug. I stamped the bike in not quite navy on some blue cardstock. With other shades of blue I coloured the bike. With the Stamp-a-magic I stamped the suitecase in the bikebasket with soft suede. I cut the bike and stamped the balloons with different colours with help from the markers. With twine I made the strings for the balloons and pieced them with brats to the wheels in the middle. Glued the background to a white basic card and with some 3D foam glued the bike and balloons on the background.

ColourQ Challenge #184

Voor de challenge van deze week mochten we alleen de kleuren op het pallet gebruiken. In eerste instantie kon ik hier niet veel mee, tot ik bedacht dat we een tijdje geleden bij een workshop een erg leuke kaart hebben gemaakt. In deze kleuren zou het er ook best leuk uit zien. Dat was mijn inspiratie.

Eerst met Going Gray het koraal gestempeld en daarna met Blushing Bride er iets schuin over. Met Creamy Caramel de schelpenrand gestempeld en deze uit geknipt. Daarna met Going Gray het zeepaardje gestempeld op Blushing Bride papier. Deze ook uitgeknipt en het sentiment met Basic Black gestempeld. Alles op de Blushing Bride kaart geplakt. Ik ben wel weer lekker bezig de laatste tijd. Het gaat als een trein!

For this weeks challenge we could only use the colours of this pallet. At first I couldn't think of a way to make a card with it, until I thought of a card I made in a workshop. It would look good in this colours too. So that was my inspiration.

I stmaped the coral first in Going Gray and than in Blushing Bride a little bit off over it. With Creamy Caramel I stamped the shells and cut them out. Nextwas the seahorse in Going Gray on Blushing Bride cardstock. I cut this one out too, and stamped the sentiment in Basic Black. I glued everything on a Blushing Bride card. It's going good the last couple of days. I'm totaly on the roll!

CAS-ual Fridays & LiM...

Voor het eerst doe ik twee challenges in een. Voor de LiM is het Lime & Black en voor CAS-ual Fridays is het chevrons & Flowers. Ik had een geweldig idee, en dacht, dat kan in een! Uiteraard pakt het altijd anders uit dan gedacht en ziet het er ook anders uit. Ik wilde met besmettelijk zwart werken. En daarop heat embossen... tjonge, wat ik me nu weer op mijn hals heb gehaald. En halverwege kan ik ook nog de bovenverdieping soppen en twee bedden afhalen en een was aanzetten. Altijd leuk zo'n kaartje tussen door...

Als eerst (na 4 eerdere pogingen) de chevrons gestempeld met versamark en geembossed. De tekst eronder ook geembossed. De bloemen geembossed en uitgeknipt op wat restpapier zwart. Hiervan heb ik er uiteindelijk maar 1 gebruikt. Ik dacht er meer nodig te hebben, dus die gaan in een bakje restjes voor een volgende keer. Alles op een witte kaart geplakt en weer klaar. Nu ja klaar, eerst opruimen. Anders gaat mijn jongste zoon morgenochtend ook met embossing poeder spelen. Dat wil ik echt niet!

This is the first time I combine two challenges. For LiM it's Lime and Black and for CAS-ual Fridays its Chevrons & Flowers. I had a wonderfull idea and I thought, that's one card and two challenges! As it should the card I made is different than the idea I started with. I wanted a black card. And on that, heat embossen.... What did I think! Half way through my card, I could clean upstairs, linen change two beds and start the washer. Always nice to do a card between other things....

First (after 4 earlier tries) I stamped the chevrons and heat embossed them. Stamped and embossed the sentiment under the chevrons. Stamped, heat embossed and cut the flowers of some leftover black paper. I used only one flower, so the others are going in the box with leftovers to use on a different time. Everything glued on some white cardstock and finished. Not quite jet, first I need te clear up the mess here. Otherwise my youngest will play with the embossingpowder and I really don't want that!

ColourQ Challenge #183

Met deze kleuren werden we geacht wat leuks te maken. Dat is zeker gelukt. Ik moest er even over denken, maar het is klaar. Ik heb niet alle kleuren. Deffodil Delight heb ik niet. Gelukkig een vriendin wel, en heb ik daar de bloem gestempeld. Met inktpennen heb ik de bloemstempel ingekleurd, en vervolgens op aanraden er een bloem van uitgeponst. Marrigje weet wel wat leuk is! Alleen het sentiment heb ik met Soft Suede gestempeld. Ook het randje met Soft Suede gedaan. Het knoopje is in Deffodil Delight en het twine in Calypso Coral.

Uiteindelijk is het eindresultaat wat anders geworden als wat ik in eerste instantie had bedacht. Bij thuiskomst kreeg ik vandaag eindelijk een oude platenkoffer!! Yes yes yes yes yes!! Kan ik eindelijk mijn papier van 12"x12" netjes opruimen.

With this colours we where supposed to make something nice. It worked out for me. I had to think about this, but it's finished. I don't have all the coloursDaffodil Delight is still missing in my stock. Luckily a friend has the right colour so I stamped the flower there. With ink markers I coloured the flower and on her advise, I punched it out. Marrigje knows what looks good on a card!! Only the sentiment did I stamp with Soft Suede. I also coloured the edges with Soft Suede. The button is Daffodil Delight and the twine is Calypso Coral.

The endresult is different tha I had in mind. When I came home there was a little surprise. I finally got an old record case!!! Yes Yes Yes Yes!! Finally I can store my 12"x12" paper in a good way..

Challenge #15: Use embellishments

Ik had gelijk al een idee in mijn hoofd. Bloemen..... Eerst het papier langs de hoeken en randen gesponst en daarna de stengels van de bloemen gestempeld. De knoopjes die de bloemen moeten zijn, opgeplakt en het sentiment gestempeld. Deze met lint over de stengels geplakt en de kaart op de basiskaart geplakt.

I had an idea straight away. Flowers..... First I sponged the corners and the edges and than stamped the flower stems. Then I glued the buttons that I used as flowers and stamped the sentiment. I glued the sentiment with ribbon over the stems and glued the card to the basic card.
