Bloemen / Flowers

In de nieuwe voorjaarscatalogus staat een geweldige set. Deze gelijk gekocht en daarna niks meer mee gedaan. De set is schitterend, maar inspiratie kwam er niet. Altijd goed om mensen in de buurt te hebben die wel ideeën hebben. Met dank aan M &M die mij dit idee gaven.

Dit was niet iets wat gelijk gemaakt kon worden. Eerst de bloem gestempeld met stazon. Die moet echt goed drogen voor je daar mee verder kan. Dit op aquarelpapier zodat ik met waterpen aan de gang kon. De inkt van de grote pads gebruikt samen met een waterpen om de afbeelding in te kleuren. Na het inkleuren de bloem uitgesneden en daarna in vieren gesneden. Van elk blokje 3 hoeken afgerond en alleen de middelste hoek hoekig gelaten. De strook DSP op de kaart geplakt en de vier stukken er op geplakt. Sentiment staat helaas niet op de foto, maar wel gestempeld en opgeplakt.

In the new spring catelogue  was this wonderful set. I bought it first and than it was laying around. The set is awesome but no inspiration. Always good to have some people around with great ideas. With a lot of thanks to M&M for this idea. 

This was something I couldn't make in one go. So I first stamped the flower with StazOn on aquarelpaper. It needs to dry after stamping because otherwise it's gone make smudges. I wanted to use my waterpen so that's the reason I stamped it on aquarelpaper. With help from the great inkpads I coloured the image. Cut the whole flower to the right size and than cut it in four. from each part I rounded the corners except the inner corner. I glued a strip of DSP on the card and on top of that the four pieces of the flower. The sentiment isn't on the picture, but I stamped it and glued it also on the card.

Paddenstoelen / Mushrooms

Mijn vader is mycoloog. Ofterwijl een paddenstoelen freak. Helaas heeft Stampin' Up geen paddenstoelen stempels, dus met Undefined zelf gemaakt! Wat een uitkomst. Eerst eindeloos getekend en als laatste op rubber gezet. Dit is het resultaat.

DSP op maat gesneden en de achtergrond geembost. De paddestoelen op DSP gestempeld en deze uit gesneden. Lint er bij en sentiment gestempeld. Het sentiment is ook zelf gesneden en is het Koreaans van gefeliciteerd met je verjaardag. En ja, undefined werkt verslavend. Er gaat echt nog wel meer van komen.

My father is mycologist. Or mushroom freak. Sadly Stampin' Up doesn't have mushroom stamps, so I made one myself with undefined! I love it. First I drew endless mushrooms and than put it on rubber. This is the result. 

I cut the DSP to the right size and embossed the background. Stamped the mushrooms on DSP andcut them out. Tied a ribon and stamped the sentiment. I cut the sentiment myself also with undefined and is Korean for happy birthday. Yes, undefined is addictive. I'm gone make a lot more with it.

Box

Voor de verjaardag van mijn moeder was ik het kwijt. Ik was te laat en wist ook niet wat ik voor haar moest halen. Mijn dochter is helemaal weg van de nieuwe voorjaarscatalogus van Stampin' Up. Na de eerste bestelling was ik al gelijk mijn bloemen stempels kwijt. Deze zijn ook echt veel te leuk.

Aangezien mij moeder jarig was en ik eindelijk wel cadeautje had maar geen verpakking, hebben we maar een doosje met de envelop punch board gemaakt. Die eindelijk eens gebruikt voor een doosje.

Eerst het papier op maat gesneden en mijn dochter heeft die bestempeld en ingekleurd. Het is een mooi project geworden wat we samen hebben gemaakt.

I lost it for my mothers birthday. I was to late and I didn't know wat to get for her. My daughter loves the new spring/summer catalogue from Stampin' Up. And right after my first order came in, she clamed the flower stamps. They are way to good. I love them too.

But because it was my mothers birthday, I needed awrapping for the present I got in a short time. We made a box with the new envelop punch board. I finally used it for a box instead of an envelop. 

I cut the paper to the right size and my daughter stampedit and coloured it. It was a good project we made together.

Eindelijk is het dan zover! Kan ik een kraamkaartje maken en opsturen. Omdat ik net de Bigshot heb, ben ik daar maar mee aan de slag gegaan. Eerst probeerde ik om een rand vlinders te doen, maar dat mislukte jammerlijk. Ik heb nog een aantal andere embossing folders liggen die ik voor deze keer maar gebruikt heb.

Cardstock op maat gesneden en met de embossingfolder door de Bigshot gehaald. Met de tag top punch de tags gemaakt van whisper white. De sentimenten gestempeld en daarnaast met behulp van de stamp-a-magic de dino's er bij gestempeld. Deze ingekleurd en de hoeken van de tag afgerond. De randen gesponst en lint door het oog gehaald. Alles op de kaart en klaar is ie. Mega snel en meer dan genoeg voor hoe ik me die dag voelde.


I could finaly make and send a babycard! Because I just bought the Bigshot, I played with that. First I tried to make a butterfly border, but that was a huge fail. Luckily I've got more embossing folders.

I cut the cardstock and pulled it through the Bigshot with the embossing folder. I made a tag with the tag top punch and rounded the corners on the other side. Stamped the sentiments and with help from the stamp-a-magic I stamped the dino's. I coloured them and sponged the edges. Put the ribbon through the eye of the tag and glued everything on the card. Very fast and for that moment more than enough to make.

Verjaardag en de PI / Birthday and the PI

Elke maand komt er een nieuwe PI (Papercraft Inspirations) uit. Daar zit elke keer ook wat leuks bij. Ditmaal was dat een clear stamp van een taart. Stampin' Up heeft hier ook een hele mooie van, maar aangezien die nog niet bij mij in de verzameling zit, wilde ik dit toch een keer proberen. Er zat ook een leuk pakje designpapier bij. Gelijk maar aan de slag dus.

Van het werk had ik ook nog wat leuk restpapier en dat moet ook altijd even getest worden. Dus ik gestempeld op het designpapier en de onderdelen uit geknipt. Op mijn achtergrond de taartstandaard gestempeld. Daar bovenop de taart weer in elkaar geplakt. Paper piecen doe ik niet vaak maar is wel heel leuk om te doen. De vlaggen er boven gestempeld en op een kaart geplakt. De vlaggetjes gekleurd en de strik gestempeld.

Every month there's a new PI (Papercraft Inspirations) to buy. And everytime there's also a free gift. THis time it was a clear stamp from a cake. Stampin' Up has a good one too, but I don't have that one. And I wanted to try this anyway. So I gave it a shot with the free designpaper. 

From work I had some nice leftover paper and that needed a try also. So I stamped the cake on the designpaper and cut the pieces out. On the paper from work I stamped the cakestand and glued the cake pieces on top of that. I don't paper piece often, but is fun to do once in a while. I stamped the banners on top of the cake and coloured them. Glued it on the card and stamped the ribbon to finish it of.

Kerst / Christmas 2013

De kerstkaart van 2013 was hard nadenken. Ik was helemaal niet met kerst bezig, en dan nog wat bedenken bleek een hele opgave. Gelukkig is daar Pinterest. Daar is het idee vandaan.

Als eerste de achtergrond met de houtnerf embossing folder gemaakt. De kerstballen uit gestanst en bestempeld. deze met een aquapainter een voor een in gekleurd. De kerststerren nogmaals gestempeld en de binnenste bloembladeren ingekleurd en uit geknipt. De gaatjes bovenin de kerstballen gemaakt voor het lint. Linten op maat geknipt en geknoopt.

Eerst de kerstballen met lint in elkaar gezet met behulp van dimensionals. Op alle achtergronden vast de tape geplakt om later mee op de basiskaart te kunnen plakken. De kerstballen op de basiskaart geplakt. Het brede lint over het smalle lint geplakt. De sentiments gestempeld en uit geponst. Deze met dimensionals op de kaarten bevestigd en de linten op de achterkant van de achtergrond vast gezet. De kaarten op de basiskaart geplakt en vervolgens alle kaarten schrijven.


The Christmascards for 2013 was a deep thought. I wasn't into Christmas as I used to be so it was hard. Luckily we have Pinterest. That's were I took the idea from.

First I made all the backgrounds with the woodgrain embossing folder. I cut out all the Christmas ornaments and stamped them. Than I stamped the flower again and with help from my aquapainter, I coloured everything. I cut the inner petals and put glue on the Christmas ornaments. With dimensionals I glued the smaller petals on the ornaments. I punched holes for the ribbon in the ornaments. I cut all the ribbon to the right length and tied it to the ornaments and made bows. 

I put someglue on the back of the backgrounds zo when everything is on it, I don't need to make a fuzz about how to put glue on it. I glued the ornaments on the backgrounds and glued the wide ribbon on the backgrounds. Stamped the sentiments and puched them out. Glued them on the backgroud with the ribbon from the ornaments behind it. Than I glued the ribbon from the ornaments on the back from the background and stuck the whole background on the base cards. Then I just needed to write them.

Beterschap / Get well soon

Voor een jongetje van 10 met een gebroken voet, een kaartje gemaakt. Dit was tijdens de judo les gebeurd. Alle kinderen uit de groep hebben hun naam er ook op gezet.

Eerst een leuke afbeelding opgezocht om te laten "duikelen" op de kaart. Deze op het internet gevonden en is dus niet van mij. Afbeelding geprint en deze uitgeknipt. In de basiskaart eerst het venster gemaakt. Het vakje gemaakt om de munt in te laten rollen. Deze met de munt er in opgeplakt en aan de voorkant de afbeelding er opgepakt met 3D foam. Iemand anders een platte banden knoop voor judo laten maken van lint. Het sentiment gestempeld en deze op het lint geplakt.

I made this card for a 10 year old boy with a broken foot. This happend during Judo lessons. All the kids from his class signed the card also. 

First I searched for a nice picture that looks good to "tumble" on the card. I found it on the internet, so it's not my picture. Printed and cut the piture. Than I made the window in the basecard and made the place for the coin to roll. Glued it with the coin between on the card. At the front of the card I glued the picture with some 3D foam. I let someone else tie the belt knot from judo with ribbon. Stamped the sentiment and glued that on the ribbon.
