LiM Week 121: Recipe Humour and Crazy for CAS Challenge #19: Ton-sur-ton

Ik heb het weer voor elkaar. Kaartje klaar met een Nederlandse tekst dit keer. Crazy for CAS is Ton-sur-ton. Gebruik een kleur in verschillende tinten. Dat is naar mijn idee goed gelukt. Less is More vroeg deze week om humor. De tekst heb ik op internet gevonden en vond ik erg grappig.

Eerst het deksel gestempeld en die gemaskerd. Het potje gestempeld en deze ook gemaskerd. De hartjes in twee verschillende tinten er in gestempeld. Uitgeknipt en twine er omheen. De tekst zelf geschreven en uitgesneden. Gaatje er in voor het twine. Potje en sentiment opgeplakt.

I did it again. Finished my card with a Dutch sentiment this time. Crazy for CAS was Ton-sur-ton this week. Use one colour in different shades. I think I did it right. Less is More asked for humour. I found the sentiment on the internet and means: If you ever leave me, can I come too? I found it very funny.

I stamped the lid first and masked it. Than I stamped the jar and masked that too. I stamped the hearts in two different colours in the jar. I cutit out and used some twine. I wrote the sentiment myself and cut it out too. Punched a hole in a corner for the twine. Glued the jar on the card and also the sentiment.

ColourQ Challenge #190

Het is weer tijd om wat te bloggen. De eerste keer dat ik mee doe als Stampin' Up demonstrator! De eerste workshop zit in de planning. Nu maar even een kaartje weer. Helaas heb ik Realy Rust niet in mijn kleuren zitten en was de kaart zonder ook al erg mooi.

Deze heb ik al eerder gezien, nu heb ik het zelf ook een keer geprobeerd. Dit wordt een proefje. Mijn vader gaat eind dit jaar verhuizen en heeft mij gevraagd of ik de kaartjes wil maken. Voor mijn vader altijd!

De achtergrond gemaskerd zodat ik in een ovaal kan sponsen. Masker verwijderd en daarna de tak met huisje gestempeld. Heel simpel en toch mooi om te zien.

It's time to blog again. The first time I enter as a Stampin' Up demonstrator! The first workshop is in the planning already. For now a card again. Sadly I don't have Realy Rust and without it the card was good too.

This I already saw by someone else and I wnated to give it a try too. This is gone be a tryout. My father is moving the end of this year and he asked if I could make the cards. Always for my father!

I masked the background so I could sponge an oval. Removed the mask and stamped the branche and birdhouse. Very simple but beautiful to see.

Fiene!

Een vriendin was zwanger en is bevallen van een prachtige dochter. Ik wilde haar een kaart sturen met een set dat ik al een poosje had maar nog nooit gebruikt.

Ik heb eerst een paar wolkjes uitgeknipt om deze te maskeren op de kaart. Dan de egeltjes en konijntjes gestempeld. Met een aquapainter alles een kleurtje gegeven.

A friend of me was pregnant. She delivered a very beautiful daughter and so I wanted to send her a card. I made one with a set I had for a while, but never used it.

I first cut some clouds and masked them on the card. Than I stamped the hedgehogs and the bunnies and used an aquapainter to colour everything.

LiM week 119: One layer Coloured card blanc

Het is al weer ff geleden, maar nu heb ik weer even tijd gevonden om wat te maken. Ik ben heel druk bezig om samen met iemand anders een Crafts & Arts fair te organiseren op Texel. Ook heb ik me nu eindelijk aangemeld als onafhankelijke Stampin' Up demonstratrice!! Yeah, eindelijk! Ik had me al goed ingelezen, maar nu komen er nog zoveel meer dingen bij kijken. Pfffff, wat een leesvoer. Maar, errug leuk!

Voor deze week van LiM was de opdracht om one layer te doen, en eens niet op een witte kaart, maar een andere kleur. Ik zag deze groene kaart, en bedacht om maar gelijk een kerstkaart er van te maken. Das gelukt!!

Wat jammer is, dat ik nog niet alles van Stampin' Up heb, dus gebruik ik nu als vervanging nog andere producten. Dat gaat straks denk wel veranderen.

Als eerste heb ik het takje gestempeld. Daaronder heb ik de kerstbal met zilver heat embossen onder gedaan. Touwtje getekend met een marker en sentiment er onder.

It's been a while, but I found some time to make this card. I'm very busy with organizing a Crafts & Arts fair on the island Texel together with a friend. Also I finally signed up for independent Stampin' Up demonstrator! Yeah, finally!! I did read al the papers already, but I need to learn so much more.... Pffff more reading stuff. But i realy love it!


This weeks LiM Challenge is a one layer. But not on white but a different colour. I saw this green cardstock and wanted to make a Christmas card from it. And I did it!

To ad I don't have all the right things from Stampin' Up just jet, so I use replacements from other brands. That will change in time I think.

First I stamped the branch and underneath the christmas ball. I used silver embossing powder. Drew the ribbon and stamped the sentiment.

Stampin' Up demonstrator opdracht.

Van mijn Stampin' Up demonstrater kreeg ik de opdracht om een doosje te vullen met kaartjes en enveloppen. Het resultaat: allemaal verschillende kaartjes met verschillende technieken. Erg leuk om te maken. De enveloppen zijn ook zelf gemaakt. Het verpakkingspapier van de Stampin' Up dozen is daar heel geschikt voor. Staat ook erg leuk. Verder mocht ik alleen maar Stampin'Up producten gebruiken, uit de op dat moment, geldige gids.

My Stampin' Up demonstrator gave me the job to fill a box with selfmade cards and envelopes. The result: all differnt kind of cards with different technices. It was fun to do. I made the envelopes with Stampin' Up wrapping paper. It looks good too. I could only use Stampin'Up material that is still for sale in the catalog at that time.

Gemaakt met de Simply Scored van Stampin' Up. De maat was wel even puzzelen.

Deze leuk rups gestempeld en knoopjes er bij voor een leuk effect. Dit is een gewone dubbele kaart.

This cute catterpillar I stamped and used buttons for the effect. This is a normal folded card.

Materials: Midnight Muse cardstock, Stamp set Bug Me and Teeny Tiny Sentiments, Inks: Pretty in Pink, Lucky Limeade and Riding Hood red and Brights Designer Buttons.

Deze easel card is gestempeld en deels ingekleurd. Lintje er om en een sentiment die het rechtop houdt.

This easel card is stamped and partly coloured. I used a ribbon and a sentiment to hold the card upright.

MAterials: Lucky Limade and Raspberry Ripple cardstock, Inks: Chocolat Chip, Raspberry Ripple, Whisper White and different kind of markers to give more colour, Summer Afternoon and Kindeness Matters stamp sets, Verry Vanilla Taffita Ribbon, Window Frame dies, Festive Paper Piercing Pack and the Modern Label Punch.

Deze kaart klap je in het midden open. De tent heb ik relief gegeven met heat embossen in clear.

Clear embossing powder, Teeny Tiny Sentiment and The Great Outdoors stamp sets. Stamp-a-magic, Modernlabel and Word Window punches.

Deze  zwenkkaart vond ik ook erg leuk om te maken. Aangezien ik daar geen die van heb, maar zelf gefabriekt.

This card was fun to make. Because I don't have a die that makes this kind of cards, I made it from mind.


Materials: Raspberry Ripple cardstock, Comfort Café Designer Paper, inks: Basic Black, Illuminate, Raspberry Ripple, Happy You Hostess stamp set and Bloomin' Marvelous stamp set, Window Frame Dies, Curly Lable punch and the Simply Scored.

Als laatste ook een redelijk gewone kaart. Alleen heb ik dit keer het sentiment gestempeld op een ander papier en er een venster uit gehaald.

And last a normal card. Only I stamped the sentiment on a different paper and make a window for the sentiment to show in the card. 

Materials: Primrose Petal cardstock and some white cardstock. ink: Chocolate chip and Basic Black, some markers to colour the plant and the bird, Summer Afternoon Hostess stamp set and Word Window punch.

CAS-ual Fridays CFC100: Top 10 Tic Tac Toe

Bij het bekijken van de challenge wist ik al gelijk wat ik wilde maken. De uitvoering verliep redelijk vlot. Na het bloggen van het kaartje van mijn vriendin was het tijd voor wat vrolijkers.

Mijn rij: Birthday, Emboss and Black & White

Eerst een zwart vlak op maat gesneden voor op de witte kaart.  De helft van de stempel op zwart met versamark gestempeld en daarna met wit embossing poeder aan de slag. Op de witte kaart gelegd en met behulp van de Stamp-a-magic ook de witte kaart gestempeld en met zwart embossing poeder gewerkt. Het zwarte vlak op de witte kaart geplakt.

After seeing the challenge I knew what to make. The execution was reasonable quick. After blogging my best friends card, it was time for some happyness.

My Challenge: Birthday, Emboss and Black & White

First I made the black cardstock the right size for in the white card. I stamped half the stamp in the black cardstock and heat embossed it in white. Positioned the black on the white card and with help from the Stamp-a-magic stamped on the white card and heat embossed it in black. Glued the black cardstock on the white card.

SU-per Challenge #6: Zeg het met bloemen: No celebration....

Een vriendin van mij zou haar verjaardag vieren tegelijk met haar zoontje... Dat liep helaas anders. Een tante van ze is overleden en in plaats van verjaardag vieren, moeten ze naar een begrafenis. Dit is de zus van mijn beste vriendin, dus daarom maar een condoleance kaart gemaakt voor haar.

Ik moest dit heel snel doen, dus daarom niet veel tijd om het heel ingewikkeld te maken. Als eerste met een lichte kleur de plantjes gestempeld. Vervolgens met een mooie blauw overheen en met een vierkante pons een stukje van elk gestempelde plantje geponst. Op een donker blauwe kaart met wit het sentiment geheat embost. Lintje er boven geknoopt en de vier vierkantjes daar weer boven geplakt. Snel geschreven en in de brievenbus gedaan. Nu maar hopen dat ze er blij mee is.

A friend wanted to celebrate her birthday together with her son...It didn't work out this way. Her aunt died and instead of celebrating, she has to go to the funeral. This is the sister of my best friend, so that's why I made this quick condolance card for her.

I had to do this quick, so no time to make this very complicated. First I stamped in a basic light colour the plants. Than I stamped it with a nice blue over it and with a square punch, punched a nice part out of the stamped plants. On a dark blue card I heat embossed in white the sentiment. Ribbon above it and the squares obove the ribbon. A quick note inside and than into the mailbox. I hope she appreciates it.

Knopen...

Mijn tante vindt knopen griezelig. Daarom had mijn vader bedacht om haar een kaart met knopen te sturen. Dit liet mij weer heel hard naar mijn held Marrigje toe rennen om de stempels te lenen van de knopen. Ze blijven leuk!

Gewoon de hele kaart vol gestempeld met knopen! Alle kleuren die ik had... En dat zijn er nogal wat.. Ik heb nu eindelijk alle kleuren van Stampin' Up in grote pads compleet, gaan ze een colour refresh doen! Verder had ik nog knopen liggen en ook heat embossen. Dit om wat meer reliëf te krijgen.... Kaart af en vader blij.

My aunt thinks that buttons are scary. So my dad wanted to send her a button card. So I ran to my hero Marrigje again... to lend her button stamps. They are cool!

Just stamped the whole card full with different buttons. All the colours I had. I do have many colours... And I finally have all the colours from Stampin' up in the big pads, are they anouncing a colour refresh! Further more I had some buttons laying around and also heat embossed a few. This to get more reliëf. Card finished, dad happy.

ColourQ Challenge #187 & The Paper Players Challenge #143 & CASology week 42: Care

Schets in combinatie van kleuren werkt bij mij altijd heel goed. Dus, maar even een lief kaartje maken voor iemand. Ik had allemaal ingewikkelde dingen bedacht, maar gaat er op uit draaien dat ik het ingewikkeld ga doen, om het er simpel uit te laten zien. Ik heb te veel tijd om na te denken vandaag geloof ik.... Vervolgens ook nog uitdaging van CASology bij gedaan, en dan is het helemaal feest.

Met een grote ronde pons een cirkel geponst uit maskertape. De linten ook gelijk van het maskertape gemaakt, zodat ik daarna gelijk door kan. De middenstrook en de cirkel afgeplakt zodat ik de rest kon sponsen met Marina Mist. De buitencirkel gemaskerd en de binnencirkel er uitgehaald. Heel licht gesponst en het koraal gestempeld. Middencirkel er weer in en nu de drie lintjes uitgemeten, zodat ik van licht naar donker kan sponzen.

Op Midnight Blue de tekst met heat embossen in wit duidelijk gemaakt. Deze op maat gesneden en op geplakt. Vervolgens de schelp gestempeld, uitgeknipt en licht gesponst. Met 3D foam de schelp op de kaart geplakt en het eindresultaat gefotografeerd.

  

 

 

A sketch in combination with colour works for me. So, I had to make a sweet card for someone else. I thought of all kind of difficult things, but enden up with making something that looks very simple, but isn't to make. I have too much time to think today I believe.... End combining that with the challenge from CASology you've got a great mix of guidelines.

With a big round punch I punched a circle out of masking tape. I also cut the ribbons out of the masking tape, so I can make them straight after the circle. I stuck the circle on the card and masked of the white strip so I could sponge the rest in Marina Mist. I masked the outside of the circle and sponged the circle very light and stamped the coral. Masked the circle again and massured out the three ribbons to sponge them from light to dark.

On midnight blue cardstock I heat embossed the sentiment in white. Cut it out to look like the ribbon and glued it on the card. Stamped the shell, cut it out and sponged it very light. I glued it on the card with some 3D foam and photographed  the card.

Crazy for CAS Challenge #17: K(r)oningsdag

Omdat we een nieuwe koning kregen, werden we uitgedaagd om alleen de Nederlandse kleuren te gebruiken. Ik had hele moeilijke dingen bedacht maar het eindresultaat was wat anders. En om eerlijk te zeggen, vind ik hem zelf heel gaaf.

Beginnen met een oranje kaart. Daar het midden van bepaald en er een hulplijn getekend. De stroken rood, wit en blauw op de goede volgorde op mijn stempel ondergrond geplakt. Daar een voor een de onderdelen van het sentiment gestempeld door middel van maskeren en goed uitlijnen. De inkt goed laten drogen en op de oranje kaart plakken.

Because we had the coronation of our new king, we where challenged to use only the Dutch colours. I had made wonderfull things in my  mind, but the endresult is totaly different. End to say, I like it a lot.

I began with the orange card and with a safeline, marked the middle. I stuck the red, white and blue stripes in the right order with some masking tape to my stampingmat. I stamped the sentiment stripe for stripe by masking the others. I let the ink dry and glued the stripes on the orange card.
