Mijn dochter werd gister 13 jaar. Dat werd gevierd en als verrassing had ik een vlaggenlijn gemaakt van tegen de 60 vlaggen.

Het inpakpapier van Stampin' Up! is echt heel veelzijdig. Doordat het sterk, licht en lekker neutraal van kleur is, goed te gebruiken voor van alles en nog wat. Met een stempelwiel gestempeld. De vlaggen uitgesneden en de cirkels voor er op, uit geponst. De bloemen gestempeld, geponst, gestapeld en vastgezet met een gouden mini brat. De letters gestanst en de randen van de cirkels gesponst. De vlaggen aan de lijn vast gelijmd. Daar de cirkels weer op en de bloemen en letters daar weer op. Klaar is je vlaggenlijn.

My daughter turned 13 yesterday. Of course we celebrated this and as surprise I made a flagline with approximatly 60 flags.

The wrapping paper from Stampin' Up! is really diverse. Because of it's strength, weight and nutral colour, it's very good to use for all kind of different things. With a stampingwheel I stamped the pictures on the paper. I cut out the flags and punched the circles for on it. I stamped the flowers, punched them, stacked them and fastened with a golden mini brat. I cut out the letters and sponged the edges of the circles. I glued the flags on the line and on top of that the circles, the flowers and the letters. Finished is your flagline.

Markers on the go

Ik had hele leuke houten sigarenkistjes. Deze heb ik gepimpt door te beplakken met Venetian Romance en daarna de randen te sponzen. Tag en lint met een bloem en klaar is de buitenkant. De binnenkant op het deksel ook beplakt, en met behulp van designer paper een divider gemaakt zodat er nu twee vakken in zitten. In een tekstverwerker de kleuren per familie getikt en in klein formaat uitgeprint zodat ik die op kaartjes aan de binnenkant kan vast maken. Erg leuk om te doen. Wat stop ik in het extra vakje?

I got some very nice sigarboxes. I pimped them with Venetian Romance designer paper and sponged the edges. With tag and ribbon and a flower on the lid and the inside of the lid also designer paper, nearly finished. With help of designer paper I made a divider so I got two spaces for stuf. I made some cards with a word processing program to attach on the inside of the lid. It was fun to do and what do I put in the extra space?

Verjaardagskaart / birthdaycard

Voor een vriend die jarig werd, heb ik maar weer eens een Japans/Koreaanse kaart gemaakt. De poppetjes zijn ook veel te leuk. Omdat ik zelf de goede stempels mis en weet dat Marrigje ze wel heeft, ga ik vaak daar aan de knutsel. Dan heeft ze vaak hele goede tips om dingen leuk op een kaart te krijgen.

De kersenbloesemtak gestempeld in twee kleuren met behulp van markers. Poppetje gestempeld en gemaskerd. De scheidingslijn tussen bruin en groen met gescheurd maskertape afgeplakt en de achtergrond gesponst. Lampionnen gestempeld en ingekleurd. Deze uitgeknipt en met een draadje er tussen elke keer twee tegen elkaar aan geplakt. Aan het lusje nog een draadje geknoopt en deze met behulp van een naald. Poppetje ingekleurd en de kaart bijgesneden. alles opgeplakt op de dubbele kaart. 

For a friends birthday I made this Japanese/Korean card. I love the little puppets. Because I miss the right stamps and I know that Marrigje has them, I go to her and make them there. Also she has the most helpfull tricks to do things on a card.

First I stamped the cherryblossem in two tones with help from markers. Stamped the puppet and masked it. With torn masking tape I made the line between the green and the brown to sponge. Stamped the lanterns and coloured them. Then I glued them in pairs together with some twine between them. The lanters I knotted to the cherryblossems with help of some more twine. I coloured the puppet and cut the card to the right size. THan I glued it to the double cardstock.
