LiM 5: Lucky Dip

Mijn eerste reactie van deze challenge was,  dat ik niks zou kunnen bedenken. Nadat ik er even voor ging zitten, kwam het idee. Ik weet niet of de kleuren helemaal volgens de challenge zijn, maar ik ben blij met het resultaat.

Eerst heb ik de randen afgeplakt met maskertape. Daarna in de hoek met roze gesponst. Daarna heb ik de (mijn favoriete) stempel met inktpennen gekleurd. De bloemen groen en de vlinders roze. Deze op de roze hoek gestempeld. De blaadjes in gekleurd met groen en de bloemen met licht roze. De vlinders waren te donker voor het geheel en wilde ik dus lichter van kleur hebben. Daarom de vlinders nogmaals met een lichtere roze op een wit papier gestempeld en deze uit geknipt. Met 3D foam deze over de donkere vlinders geplakt en dat geeft een leuk effect (achteraf). Het sentiment in grijs gestempeld.

I saw the challenge and thought that it would be a lot harder get an idea. When I sat down for it, inspiration came. I don't know if the colours are right for this LiM Challenge, but I like the result.

First I masked the edges, so my sponging gets a nice edge. I sponged it with pink in the corner. Than I coloured (my favourite) stamp with ink pencils. The flowers, leaves and stem, green, and the butterflies pink. After stamping the whole thing over the pink corner, I coloured the leaves green, the flowers with a light pink and the butterflies dark pink. But seeing the dark pink butterflies, I wanted them lighter of tone. So I stamped the butterflies alone on a white paper and cut them out. With some 3D foam I stuck them over the stamped butterflies for some 3D effect. With grey I stamped the sentiment.
