ColourQ Challenge #187 & The Paper Players Challenge #143 & CASology week 42: Care

Schets in combinatie van kleuren werkt bij mij altijd heel goed. Dus, maar even een lief kaartje maken voor iemand. Ik had allemaal ingewikkelde dingen bedacht, maar gaat er op uit draaien dat ik het ingewikkeld ga doen, om het er simpel uit te laten zien. Ik heb te veel tijd om na te denken vandaag geloof ik.... Vervolgens ook nog uitdaging van CASology bij gedaan, en dan is het helemaal feest.

Met een grote ronde pons een cirkel geponst uit maskertape. De linten ook gelijk van het maskertape gemaakt, zodat ik daarna gelijk door kan. De middenstrook en de cirkel afgeplakt zodat ik de rest kon sponsen met Marina Mist. De buitencirkel gemaskerd en de binnencirkel er uitgehaald. Heel licht gesponst en het koraal gestempeld. Middencirkel er weer in en nu de drie lintjes uitgemeten, zodat ik van licht naar donker kan sponzen.

Op Midnight Blue de tekst met heat embossen in wit duidelijk gemaakt. Deze op maat gesneden en op geplakt. Vervolgens de schelp gestempeld, uitgeknipt en licht gesponst. Met 3D foam de schelp op de kaart geplakt en het eindresultaat gefotografeerd.

  

 

 

A sketch in combination with colour works for me. So, I had to make a sweet card for someone else. I thought of all kind of difficult things, but enden up with making something that looks very simple, but isn't to make. I have too much time to think today I believe.... End combining that with the challenge from CASology you've got a great mix of guidelines.

With a big round punch I punched a circle out of masking tape. I also cut the ribbons out of the masking tape, so I can make them straight after the circle. I stuck the circle on the card and masked of the white strip so I could sponge the rest in Marina Mist. I masked the outside of the circle and sponged the circle very light and stamped the coral. Masked the circle again and massured out the three ribbons to sponge them from light to dark.

On midnight blue cardstock I heat embossed the sentiment in white. Cut it out to look like the ribbon and glued it on the card. Stamped the shell, cut it out and sponged it very light. I glued it on the card with some 3D foam and photographed  the card.
