Doosjes en vlinders / Boxes and butterflies

Een vriendin gaat een serie doosjes maken voor haar babyshower. Daar werd ik door geïnspireerd. Ik bedacht een leuke variatie die vrij snel en simpel toch hele leuke geschenkverpakking is. Deze is niet helemaal zoals ik het voor ogen had, maar dat komt omdat ik wilde dat je deze nog open kon maken.

Eerst het papier op maat gesneden, de vouwlijnen gerild en de vlinder uit  geponst. Daar venster folie achter geplakt en de omtrek vastgeplakt. De onderkant en de bovenkant gerild en ingeknipt. Deze in elkaar geplakt en de onderkant vastgemaakt  aan de omtrek. Nog twee grotere vlinders uit geponst en de twee kleine vlinders boven op de grote vlinders met brats op elkaar vastgezet. Lint op maat geknipt.

Dan is het de bedoeling dat je het doosje vult zodat je kan dicht strikken en met 3D foamtape de vlinders er op vast maakt. Ik heb eerst de vlinders geplakt en daarna gestrikt.

A friend is going to make a serie of boxes for her babyshower. I got inspired by her and made a variation that's quick, simple and looks good. It doesn't look like it should to let me open it again so I can fill it later.

I first cut the paper to the right sizes, rilled the folding lines and punched out the butterflies. I glued some windowsheet behind the butterfly. I rilled and cut the top and botom of the box and glued them so I could glue the bottom on the box. I punched out two bigger butteflies and fastened two smaller on top of them with brats. The last thing I did was measuring out the ribbon and tied it around the boxes after putting the butterflies on top of the box with 3D foam.
