Less is More week 133: Round and Round

Ik wist al vrij snel wat ik wilde maken. De uitvoering was wat traag. Dit idee lieten ze ook al zien, maar heb er mooi mijn eigen draai aan gegeven. Dit leent zich uitstekend voor auto's en dergelijke. Dus de favoriete set van mijn zoon gepakt, en daar deze fun kaart mee gemaakt.

Als eerste het balkje waar de wielen moeten draaien gemaakt. De word window punch was te breed, dus met een gaatjes tang twee gaatjes gemaakt en daartussen het karton zelf weg gesneden. De auto's gestempeld en van 1 de wielen alleen. Van de tweede auto de wielen iets kleiner geknipt, zodat dit er niet onderuit komt.

De auto op de kaart  gepast en daarom de tekst gestempeld. De wielen geknipt zodat ze net iets groter zijn dan een eurocent. in de wielen van de auto die achter de wielen komt, ook een gat geponst. Eerst de wielen op zijn kop neergelegd. Daar de auto op zijn kop overheen, zodat het gat in de wielen in het midden van de losse wielen ligt. Dimensions gebruikt om in het gat te plakken. daar de kaart overheen, zodat ik de munt kon plakken. Een strook papier langer en breder dan de centen, er overheen geplakt. Klaar is je kaart!

I knew what to make when I saw the challenge. The execution was slow and the idea was shown, but I gave it my own twist. This is easy to use for cars and the like. So I grabbed the favorite set of my son and made this fun card with it. 

First I made the sliding window. But the word window punch was to wide for what I wanted to make. So with another punch I made the holes and I cut out the lane beween. I stamped the car twice and cut out the first car. THe second only the wheels, but so that the eurocent is just hidden behind it. 

I fit the car on the card to stamp the sentiments. In the wheels of the car I punched holes also, so the wheels can move in front of the car. First I laid out the wheels and on top of that the car with the holes over the middle of the wheels, so you can put some 3D foam in the middle. Put the car over it and glue the eurocents on the wheels. Than the closing cardstock to finish it of.
